Scenario

 

You are going on a scavenger hunt exploration around the world with your geography team. 

Each team member will be given a scroll with information for you to find. Each team member will

discover a natural or manmade landmark located somewhere in the world by researching the answer

 to the question.  Once each team member has found their landmark, as a group, you will present

your findings in a PowerPoint presentation to other Geologists (your classmates).

Process:

 

1.                  Look for KEYWORDS in each statement on your scroll.  Use those keywords to figure

out which landmark each statement describes.  Use the following internet resources to

navigate to the answer. Once you have found the landmark write its name on the line

next to each statement.

 

 

2.            Get a PowerPoint storyboard from Mrs. Timson or Miss Oswald

 

3.            Finally, when your storyboard has been approved by Mrs. Timson and/or Miss Oswald

      you may begin, as a group, on your PowerPoint project.  You will create a 5 page PowerPoint.
