Text Box: The Tolt PTSA enjoys directing its impact for the students in a variety of ways. Following is a list of some of the ways in which we contribute. Please feel free to contact directly any PTSA board member or committee chair if you’d like to volunteer. Student Store The students love visiting the PTSA store during lunchtime. Working in the store is a great opportunity to interact with the students and help raise money for our many building grant requests. Please contact Karen Peden if you’d like to volunteer. Volunteers need to be active PTSA members. Not a member yet? That’s okay. It’s easy to join. See our membership page. Make a Difference Day Make a Difference Day is the most encompassing national day dedicated to helping others: a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors while allowing kids to see what a difference they can make. Everyone is invited to participate. Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please contact Leanne Christensen to find out how to help. Bingo Night Just a fun evening for Tolt families and friends with bingo, prizes, food, and lots of laughs. To help with this February event, please contact event chairs Kristi Connelly or Karen Cramer. Reflections Reflections is a national arts program developed to encourage students to express themselves through creative arts. This year’s theme is I Can Make a Difference By . . . Students create their own masterpiece and submit it for recognition.    Connect to the state web site for official rules and entry forms. Tolt entries are due January 4. If you’re interested in helping with this event, please contact the Reflections chair, Tanya Segura. Eighth Grade Dance The eighth grade dance held prior to their graduation is a favorite event for Tolt Middle School students. Produced in tandem with the ASB, the PTSA provides additional support and resources. Please contact event chairs, Pam Werner or Heather Bakke, with questions or to volunteer.
